FAQ
What Our Clients Ask Us Most Often
What motivated you to found this language school?
With globalization, demand for language learning continues to grow. We saw an opportunity to create a concrete impact: helping professionals and newcomers integrate into their social and professional environments through specialized courses in business, exam preparation, and immigration.
What is your school’s mission and vision?
Our mission is to support professionals in developing their language skills so they can move forward with ease and confidence in an international environment. We transform language learning into a driver of performance and competitiveness for individuals and businesses.
What are the core values that guide your pedagogical approach?
Three values guide everything we do. Excellence, through high-quality training delivered by expert trainers. Personalization, with programs designed around each client’s specific needs. And a results orientation, by focusing on practical skills that are immediately applicable in a professional context.
How does your teaching method differ from other language schools?
Our courses move away from the traditional format where the teacher is the main speaker. At VivaLang, the instructor acts as a coach and the learner actively participates in every session. We also prioritize responsive client service, backed by a competent and dedicated team.
How would you describe the learning experience at your school?
The Viva experience begins with a personalized welcome and an individual assessment. The program is then built to fit: content, schedule, delivery format, and choice of instructor. The pedagogy is interactive and focused on hands-on practice. The learner progresses in a stimulating environment where every milestone is recognized.
What role does the human and caring aspect play in your teaching?
A central one. Through their exchanges, the learner shares a great deal with their instructor. Our trainers are very aware of this: the learner is first and foremost a person with their own background and day-to-day realities. The quality of the connection and the chemistry between the client and the instructor remain a key factor in success.
Do you use specific tools or technologies to enhance learning?
We integrate specialized platforms such as Ellii for English courses, along with tracking tools for courses and assignments. A client portal is also in development to give learners direct access to their training plan and course content.
Who are your trainers and what are their qualifications?
Our trainers have a minimum of two years of experience teaching languages to adults. They teach in their mother tongue and hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. We look for dynamic, professional profiles capable of inspiring confidence.
What characterizes your team and your company culture?
A dynamic, proactive, and professional team. Client satisfaction remains a priority: we ensure a response time of under 24 hours. The impression that comes up most often from our instructors: a human team that listens.
What impact do you want to have on your learners and on society in general?
That acquiring a new language has an impact both professionally and personally. That being able to express yourself becomes a source of integration, whether in Quebec or within their teams. And that this confidence allows them to navigate a new environment or a new role with assurance.
What are your development goals for the coming years?
To make VivaLang the reference school in Quebec and across Canada. The development of our own platform will help strengthen our brand image and the value of the company.
Are you considering new languages, methods, or services in the future?
Yes. We are working on one- or two-day workshops for a targeted clientele, including sales technique training and conversation workshops.
